KRK V8 Series 4 Low / Sub Frequency Artifact Issue

I have a pair of 3 y/o KRK V8 S4 speakers that have a bizarre low frequency artifact issue. The issue is occurring in both speakers. It appear to be something related to the cross-over mechanism that is both frequency and amplitude dependent. It also appears to be harmonically related as well. i.e. 370 Hz causes the issue as does 3700Hz. High frequency information is generating low frequency artifacts in the woofer. These are most apparent when monitoring at lower to modest volumes. At higher volumes the phenomenon is much less noticeable if at all there. I did contact KRK via their 800 number but I had a bizarre and disappointing unprofessional exchange with the particular support personnel that happened to answer my call. I make it a point to be polite and courteous anyone working in customer care because I’m aware of the abuse they often receive. So I never yell, swear, or demean. So I was not impressed with the dismissive, curt, and obstinate disposition of this individual. Literally unwilling to take the time to understand the problem. Obviously, he just wanted me to go away and when I wouldn’t he hung-up when I was in mid sentence… I have NEVER had such an exchange like this with any company LET ALONE a high-end company as KRK. That is unacceptable service and this is not minor issue consider these are purportedly “highly accurate” speakers. Watch the video and hear for yourself. That being said, no one listens to music this way BUT you can hear it when monitoring isolated high frequency content something that recording engineer kinda have to do. Also, I did test the speakers with other sources other than my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40. Phenomenon is still there. Also when I monitor through my planar headphones via the headphone jack of the Pro 40, the issue is not there and these headphones do have a 20hz-20khz response.
