The Birthplace of Dynamite: Abandoned Factory in Ardeer, Scotland Take a little trip with us as we venture out to this abandoned explosives factory out in the west coast of Scotland. This factory was used in 1870 to produce and distribute dynamite which was invented by Alfred Nobel in 1867. The factory was used for other purposes since it's dynamite days but since then was subject to a large fire which meant the factory and surrounding buildings have became desolate. This is the first time we have done any real urban exploration and found it extremely fascinating!
