I got my hands on the Canon EOS R5 this month to explore several photogenic hidden gems & secret places off the beaten tracks around Singapore. Here are the places I have visited: 1. Skygarden at Skyville at Dawson – breezy roof garden with panoramic views of the southern and western parts of the city-state 2. Skygarden at SkyParc at Dawson – roof garden with iconic view of Singapore as a City in Nature 3. Urban Farm at Funan – a touch of green right in the heart of the Civic district 4. Former Queen’s Theatre – A Conserved facade that reveals a piece of cinematic history in Singapore 5. Terrace Garden at Telok Blangah Hill Park – a peaceful garden with a rich history, magical landscaping and breathtaking city view Canon’s colour science and high resolution sensor enabled me to capture vibrant, high quality urban scenes and photos that are more pleasing to the eye. The EOS R5 also has a number of ergonomic features, from face detection and tracking, vari-angle LCD with touch & drag focus, and the multi-function button which enables quick switch between video and photo mode with greater control, these make hybrid shooting and content production much more efficient.
