Calamity Portalcraft, a deck I shockingly haven't played on this channel yet, is one of shadowverse's biggest mysteries. Its a deck that is slower than most grindy control bloodcrafts, overly relies on expensive cards with little in the way of early game, and limited ways of mitigating combos, yet before despair came into the picture it was one of portalcrafts most popular decks in the format. It was popular enough that you could expect a decent number of any portal players you ran across to be running some form of calamity build, regardless of its quality. Speaking of despair, It seems like a great inclusion on paper, a way to cheat out more big followers to speed up the calamity invoke process but the followers you cheated out just won the game before you even got your first invoke.
