Studiologic finally did it: my dream Stage MIDI Controller. With my already mature setup for iPad, with so many great App's available, simple one cable USB connection working flawlessly, the Numa X 88 is probably the only solution available at any price point. Why? -Audio and MIDI interface via USB; Standard MIDI; 4 channel mixer; Pitch and modulation sticks; aftertouch; 14 kgs with metal construction; space for two iPads on top, magnetically attached; Enough assignable knobs and pedals; all in a 88 keys keyboard, while not being the best, works wonderfully for me ( perfect dynamics, heavy weight keys but nimble for fast passages, fast repetitions and allowing for piano and organ style glissandos ). Of course, it has a lot of flaws, especially in the sounds department. But who cares, they’re there just in case.
