English Version: EGO… is a 30-minute digital art piece about egocentrism, love and separation, for music lovers and arthouse fans alike. Part music video, part short film, we reconfigure the genres and keep the power of intimate live performances. EGO… is a breathtaking work that captures Schumann‘s Dichterliebe in unprecedented aesthetics. Produced by SciSound Collective, we combine outstanding artistry and thrilling storytelling to drive immersive experiences. Schumann‘s Dichterliebe is a song cycle consisting of different fragments in a love story of separation. We combine those moments with texts from Elfriede Jelinek and the rhizomatic chain of associations she creates in our minds. Like a fractured mirror, the musical pieces reflect back on the protagonists, isolating them even more from each other. Following Wagner‘s Gesamtkunstwerk idea, our collective combines visual art, music and technology and surpass this realm by venturing into the neurological dimensions of egocentricity.
