Today on Air Arms TV, ambassador, Richard Leonard is out in the South African bush hunting game birds with the brand new Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter XS. Welcome to Air Arms TV. We’re on the costal belt of the Eastern Cape of South Africa; Richard is planning on doing some pest control for a local farmer, whilst also taking a few game birds for the pot. Soon into his Air Arms adventure, Richard comes across a field inhabited with several guinea fowl. They can be very vary on this property, so Richard needs to use every kind of advantage possible. He slow approaches them in the distance using treelines for cover. Once in a suitable position, he aims the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter ready for a shot. After squeezing the trigger the pellet hits perfectly and the guinea fowl is ethically dispatched. The fields are filled with animals during this time of the year on the farm. It’s incredible to see so much wildlife in one place. It’s the ideal time for Richard to enjoy the scenery. However, he soon comes across another flock of guinea fowl. Not wasting time, Richard gets set up once again for the shot. Another great shot and the bird is down. Further up the field, Richard spots some Hadada Ibis, the farmer has already told him that there are too many on the farm, he needs to remove several of them. Richard once again readies the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter; he is able to successful shoot two. Richard moves further into some pastures that is known to have a strong game bird presence. He’s hopefully to get a more meat for the pot. Soon into this new area, Richard can hear the birds in the distance. Several of the guinea fowl moved into cover, but one remind behind. Richard didn’t let the opportunity pass and took another shot that hit perfectly. The Air Arms S510 Utimate Sporter is the ideal air rifle for game bird hunting. The smooth cocking lever action helps with quick and consecutive shots, which comes in handy when hunting these tough game birds. In another field further into the farmland, Richard hears Francolin nearby. He has to conceal his movement, even though he can’t see them, he knows they are close. Now in a better position, Richard sees the Francolin, they are very skittish birds and he can’t waste any time. He once again prepares the S510 Ultimate Sporter and takes the shot. It’s been another fantastic adventure in South Africa. Not only has Richard helped the farmer remove some pesky birds; he’s also got some meat for the pot.
