The Athletes: Cam Griffith After wrapping up a decorated prep career in Sydney, Australia, Cameron set his sights on the NCAA to push him to the next level. Cam became an Arkansas Razorback, where he became an integral part of the team’s success. His signature kick and will to run down as many athletes as possible to earn more points for his team quickly turned into SEC titles and All-American honors. After a menacing last 200m at the 2019 NCAA Championships 1,500m took Cameron from 10th to 3rd place, he caught the eye of Tinman Elite. Jamaine Coleman A self-admitted troublemaker, Jamaine’s early years were spent in and out of detention at his prep school in Preston, England. After his parents suggested a few track practices to help him get stronger for soccer, Jamaine fell in love with the sport’s pure simplicity. He blossomed quickly, winning multiple junior national titles and earning a scholarship to attend college in the United States. His collegiate career at Eastern Kentucky culminated with a runner-up finish in the NCAA Championships steeplechase. After missing the World Championships standard by just one second in the steeplechase, Jamaine has found a new level of commitment and his eyes are set on the Olympic Games. Brogan Austin Brogan has weathered the storm of ups and downs that running can bring more than most—but his staunch self-belief, insatiable work ethic, and pure love for running have always won out in the end. After a tumultuous collegiate career, Brogan found Coach Schwartz through fellow Drake alum and Tinman, Reed Fischer. He quickly found himself running at an entirely new level. His newfound confidence and knack for late-in-the-race heroics were on full display at the USATF Marathon Championships, where he stormed into the lead in the final few miles and never looked back.
