Gareeb Bihar: देश में बिहार सबसे गरीब और Bihar में Kishanganj | NITI Aayog | Seemanchal

#GareebBihar: देश में बिहार सबसे गरीब और #Bihar में #Kishanganj #Seemanchal #BiharNews #NITIAayog #MultidimensionalPovertyIndex As per the National Multidimensional Poverty Report released by NITI Aayog, Bihar has the majority of its population in multidimensional poverty – simply put, it is poor on the parameters of health, education, lifestyle and so on. As per this report, 51.91% of Bihar’s population is multidimensional poverty stricken; this is far greater than any other state in the country. Similarly, Bihar ranks the lowest on the parameters of nutrition, health of pregnant women, children’s access to schools and fuel used for cooking. The report says that 51.88% of the population of Bihar is devoid of nutritious food whereas 45.62% of the pregnant women don’t get health benefits. Similarly, Bihar ranks the lowest again in school education. 26.67% of the people aged 10 and above in Bihar, are unable to get school education even till the age of 6. On the other hand, 9.8% of the children are unable to go to schools. The report also says that 3.7% of the houses in Bihar still do not have electricity connection. If we talk of cooking gas, the report says that cow dung cakes, wood, coal & grass is used for cooking in 63.20% of the houses in the state. As per National Family Health Survey data, this figure was 82.92% in 2015-16. This was about Bihar as a state, but the report has even more surprising data – data that says that the historic disregard of #Seemanchal region continues even today. NITI Aayog, in its report, has issued a list of districts ranked on the basis of poverty. Four districts of Seemanchal figure in the top 10 of these poor districts – #Kishanganj, #Araria, Purnia and Katihar. Kishanganj tops the list with a poverty-stricken population of 64.75%, followed by Araria in the second position with 64.65% of such population. #Purnia and #Katihar have a poverty-stricken population of 63.29% and 62.38% respectively. Political temperature is once again soaring over this report. RJD and Congress have questioned the Bihar Government while BJP and JD(U) have questioned the report itself. Meanwhile, when CM Nitish Kumar was asked about this report, he said that he is yet to see the report. Tejashwi Yadav taunted him and said – “He is very innocent. Does he even see anything? Even after so much acting, do his expressions show that he actually doesn’t know about it? He knows it very well that nobody will ask about it, once the news gets old.” Amid this political tussle, a valid question over Seemanchal arises. Why are the areas in Seemanchal region in such a bad state? How strongly has the parties, doing politics in Seemanchal, raised the basic issues of the region? In the days to come, Main Media will speak to representatives of various political parties on the basis of the worrisome data over Seemanchal, published in the report and find out the reason behind such situation of the region. Because... The weather is pleasant in the village, in your files But this data is false; the claim is only on paper They are beating the drums of democracy on the other side Here, there is barbarism and dukedom behind the curtains Your table is made of silver, your chalice of gold The house of poor still has a broken utensil Join this channel to get access to perks:    / @mainmediahun   . . स्वतंत्र पत्रकारिता को जिंदा रखें, 'मैं मीडिया' को Donate करें: https://mainmedia.in/donations . .
