This review, initiated as a suo motu subject, will focus on SEBI’s operational performance and its adherence to regulatory standards established by parliamentary acts. SEBI Chairman is expected to be summoned by Venugopal to address these concerns. In the PAC meeting scheduled for September 10, the committee will also decide which Ministry's department will be the focus of its discussions based on the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports.
