High-Protein, Low-Carb Diet Increase Protein Intake: Protein helps preserve muscle mass while losing fat. Include lean meats, eggs, fish, and plant-based proteins (like lentils and beans) in your meals. Reduce Carbohydrate Intake: Cut back on refined carbs (like bread, pasta, and sugary foods) and replace them with vegetables and whole grains. This can help lower insulin levels and accelerate fat burning. Eat Healthy Fats: Include sources of healthy fats such as avocado, olive oil, nuts, and seeds. These help keep you full and provide essential nutrients. Cut Out Sugary Beverages: Sugary drinks like sodas and juices are high in calories and can hinder fat loss. Stick to water, herbal teas, or black coffee. 2. Calorie Deficit To lose fat, you need to consume fewer calories than you burn.
