We're kicking off The Weekender at Bike Park Wales! This weekend is one of the biggest events in the UK mountain biking calendar, and we’re here to soak it all in. 🔥 From awesome trail sessions to competitions, and even hanging with some pros, the stoke is real! Today we rode A470, The Funnel, and Norkle—legendary BPW trails that never disappoint. Plus, I had a blast competing in the Fox Racing Zut Jam and Whip Off — spoiler alert, the energy was off the charts! 🔥💥 Trail Breakdown: A470 🚵‍♂️: This iconic red trail is a fast-flowing masterpiece! We tackled some big berms, smooth tabletops, and kept the speed maxed out. The perfect warm-up to get those legs firing! The Funnel 🌲: A new blue flow trail designed to give riders a smooth, fast, and thrilling experience. Known for its swooping berms and carved transitions, it offers plenty of opportunities to maintain speed while honing technical skills. It's designed for intermediate riders but provides plenty of fun even for more advanced mountain bikers, making it a fantastic option for warming up before hitting harder trails​. Norkle 💨: For those that love tech with a bit of flow, Norkle is a hidden gem. Some sweet drops and off-camber sections got the heart racing. But the best part? The wild forest vibe that surrounds you the entire way down. 🌲 Popty Ping: a blue-graded jump trail that features a series of progressive tabletop jumps, making it an ideal spot for intermediate riders looking to hone their jumping skills. The trail flows with smooth berms and well-designed jumps, offering a perfect progression for riders who want to build confidence before tackling more advanced trails. The trail’s playful nature and snaking turns make it a favorite for those looking to enjoy a fun, flowy run​ We’ve also been tearing it up at the Fox Racing Zut Jam—I hit some of the sickest features, and the Whip Off was next level!
