In this video I go over the installation and thoughts on the Timbren Tortun4 rear BumpStop on our 2003 Tundra 4WD. I recently replaced the front coilovers and rear struts on my 2003 Tundra (V8 4WD) as the old suspension wasn't doing a very good job on the road. Then, when I had a heavy load in the bed of the truck it was still coming down more than I wanted so decided to go with the Torch Offroad Add a Leaf kit. With a heavy load in the bed of the truck they did a great job of properly supporting the back end of the truck. However, with the bed full of tools etc AND a heavy load on a trailer I wanted even more support. Specifically I wanted to make sure nothing happened to my wife's piano when I was hauling that from Houston area to SW Colorado. I ordered these Timbren Tortun4 bump stops right before the trip. They came right away and installed them literally the day before I left on the trip. They were pretty simple to install and did a fantastic job of supporting the back end of the truck with a really heavy load on the truck and the trailer. On the highway with the truck and the trailer loaded up the ride was solid and felt really good back there. I didn't have any issues whatsoever. While I was away in Colorado I probably loaded the max suggested weight on the trailer for the bump stops at 6000lbs as I had to haul a load of rock a short distance for some landscaping I was doing. The bump stops supported the load beautifully. I highly recommend the Timbren Tortun4 bump stops if you're looking for extra support for heavy loads. They don't kick in (make contact) when I don't have a heavy load in the truck but as I load more weight into the bed of the truck or attach a weighted trailer they certainly do their job as designed.
