This was harder than I thought.... Viennese Whirls

following a tiktok recipe - it honestly looked absolutely fabulous. Used exact same amounts etc and oh boy it was like concrete, it didn't help that my nozzle was a tad too small (must buy more!) but it was impossible to squeeze out so I added a splash of milk and a little more vanilla extract. In the end I made 30 dinky ones, dipped in melted chocolate and cost 5p each. Not bad but blimey it took effort. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching.... Kerry 125g butter/marg 125g icing sugar 125g plain flour 25g cornflour 1 tsp vanilla extract 75g chocolate (optional - for dipping biscuits when cooked) butter must be very loose before starting to help with the end result before cooking.  Add butter and icing sugar to a bowl and whisk together.  Sift in your flour and cornflour and with a spatula, fold it in until fully combined.  (it may be a bit thick for piping, if so - loosen with a splash of milk) Put the dough into a piping bag, and on a sheet of baking paper, pipe out any shape you like. I went with circles and squiggles.   Pop piped dough into the fridge for minimum 30 mins. BAKE setting 180c/360f for approx 5 mins (mine were small - so keep an eye as may be longer or even shorter)  Once whirls are completely cooled, dip into the chocolate (that you've melted) set aside until chocolate has hardened.  Enjoy with a lovely cup of tea
