Early retirement was always going to be a rollercoaster of emotions and changes, yet starting the new chapter in our lives has been so rewarding. Join us as we identify and reflect on the many positive changes that have occurred in the first few months of our early retirement. We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We have chosen to early retire from teaching during the summer of 2022 at the age of 51. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travel the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.
