We just arrived in Paris and it's been quite the journey. The airline lost our luggage and there's no sign of it in the tracking system yet. Will we get it before our trip is over? Today is my birthday, so I guess we're going to do some shopping before dinner or we're not going to have anything to wear. I can think of worse ways to spend the day in Paris.... definitely a silver lining, although I'm not going to pretend that wasn't what I planned to do on my birthday anyway 😉 Update: We received our luggage the following day and received a reimbursement from Air France of $337 for the inconvenience.
