New York Strip Steak I believe is the correct description for this cut of meat. I generally go for Ribeye, Filet Mignon or Strip depending on what on sale at Harris Teeter. Their meat and fish department seems to be the freshest in town. I like the Pittsburgh style, which I describe as being seared on the outside and very rare on the inside. I’ve ordered that at Binions roadhouse restaurant and at Longhorns, which is my favorite restaurant. I think they do a super job but occasionally I like to do one myself and save a few bucks. I’d have to look at the label to see how big the steak is but it lasted me for three meals.
