Part 1: Women Characters in Tagore’s Fiction Our tribute begins with an ode to the remarkable women in Tagore’s stories, each a powerful reflection of resilience, emotion, and individuality. Characters like Charulata, Ashalata, Binodini, Labanya, Ketaki, Bimala, Hemnalini, and Mrinal come alive on stage, symbolizing the depth and complexity of womanhood as envisioned by Tagore. Part 2: Jorasanko Thakurbari - Andormahal and SaajSojja Next, step into the Andormahal of Jorasanko Thakurbari, where the Tagore family upheld a legacy of tradition and culture. This segment captures the essence of the Thakurbari’s influence on Bengali society through their customs, aesthetics, and traditional attire, bringing to life the elegance and heritage of the Tagore household. Part 3: Thakurbarir Sarodutsav with Dhunuchi Dance The grand finale celebrates the joyous Sarodutsav at the Tagore household. While rooted in Brahmo ideals, the Tagores embraced the spirit of Durga Puja with devotion, music, and dance. This final segment ends with the spirited Dhunuchi dance, seeking the blessings of Goddess Durga in a heartfelt homage to her divine strength and grace.
