myTags in situ Hybridization Probes - Applications and Services

Talk presented by Linda Barthel, Lead Product Scientist of Cytogenomics Solutions at Daicel Arbor Biosciences, during the GPZ Study Group ‘Cytogenetics 2021 Meeting’ held in Germany in September 2021. In this presentation, Linda discusses how the myTags synthetic oligonucleotide probes can be designed and used as an alternative to BAC and other genomic cloned probes in many in situ hybridization (ISH ) applications. myTags probes can be used to localize genomic DNA, nuclear localized nacent RNA or cytoplasmic mRNA. The experimental applications include chromosome indexing/karyotyping, chromosome painting, haplotyping, 3D or 4D loci detection/ nuclear domain analysis translocation events, chromosome fusion, phylogeny, genomic regulation, chromosome relationships, and even viral detection.
