In this video we are discussing how to get "Field Tip Accuracy" out of your broadheads. A lot of times, switching to a broadhead after practicing all summer with your field tips will prove to be frustrating. The field tips fly great, but as soon as you put a broadhead on the end of the arrow everything changes. We're here to help. When switching to broadheads, whether it be fixed or mechanical style heads, its important to make sure your bow is properly tuned. We recommend paper tuning and bare shaft tuning your arrows prior to putting a broadhead on the end of your arrow. When you are shooting field tips, there is no resistance coming from the front of the arrow and the vanes correct any errors. However, when you throw a "rutter" on the end of your arrow the head starts to counter correct the vanes causing flight differences. With a properly tuned bow and arrow, you should get great flight out of any of the Afflictor broadheads.
