A huge murder of crows terrorized our neighborhood on January 21, 2013. Each winter this murder spends a few nights in downtown Minneapolis. They begin to mass after sunset and completely blanket the tops of all the trees, creating a very eerie setting you'd have to experience in person to fully appreciate. It's a challenge to film them at night, looking up from below they literally black out the sky, and they leave by sunrise. But even when they can't be seen, they can certainly be heard. This video captures a pretty good sense of what it's like to be under a marauding murder of crows!
