Instant Poha uthappam

INGREDIENTS Poha/Aval 1 cup Rava 1 cup Curd 1/2 cup Baking soda 1/2 spn Salt Water Method : Take a bowl and add poha in it. Add 1 cup water and wash it. drain off the water. Add rava and 1/2 cup water. Close and rest it for 10 mins. AFTER 10 MINS Transfer that soaked poha and rava mixture into the blender. Add curd, baking soda, salt and little water. And blend it like a smooth batter. This batter should be slightly thicker than Dosa batter consistency. Now uthappam batter ready. MAKING UTHAPPAM Heat a Dosa tawa on medium heat. Drizzle a teaspoon of oil into hot tawa and spread it. Lower the flame and take a full ladleful of batter and pour onto the tawa. Spread it a bit gently and don’t spread too much. Drizzle oil on top of the uthappam. Flip another side gently and cook. You can serve this uthappam with sambar or chutney.
