WÖR & Kongero - SONGBOOKS powerful & elegant music from Sweden and Belgium . 'Songbooks' is a marriage between voices and instruments – WÖR, a Belgian band known for inventive instrumental arrangements of 18th-century manuscripts from the lowlands, and Kongero, a boundary-pushing Swedish Folk'appella group that brings a powerful and evocative approach to Scandinavian Folk Songs. This melody is called 'Les Jolies Filles' (Beautiful Ladies), a melody from the manuscript of Frans De Prins, Leuven (BE) 1780 arranged by Pieterjan Van Kerckhoven. More to come in 2024 @ Dranouter Festival, @GooikoortsFestival , Abdij van 't Park and shows in Belgium in October '24, Februari '25 and March'25!
