Maria Ose presented a program that explored the melodies for solo flute, bridging the rich musical traditions of Germany and Norway. Her interpretations of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann, and Edvard Grieg created a unique connection between the German Baroque and the evocative sounds of Scandinavia, with arrangements that celebrated the interplay between various cultural influences, including those of Carl Nielsen and Ole Bull. With her technical mastery and emotional expressiveness, Maria Ose, principal flutist of the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, captivated the audience in a performance that linked past and present.
