Tour of the recently upgraded Buena Vista County Park

Buena Vista County Park is a multi-use facility with tiered parking areas leading to a boat ramp for accessing the majestic Willamette River near Corvallis, Oregon. Come along with Marine Board designer and engineer Allen Chiou for a tour of the facility upgrades. Polk County received a grant from the Marine Board during its 2021-2023 biennial award cycle. The scope of the facility makeover included a redesigned boat ramp, boarding docks, additional vault toilet, and expanded parking. Further infrastructure improvements were also made to ensure adequate drainage during the wet months and to mitigate potential damage for flood years.
