The latest piano to leave our on-site workshop is this beautiful Steinway model A, which was originally manufactured in 1911. The cabinet has been stripped and re-finished in a high gloss polyester. The soundboard and frame have been restored, and a new wrest plank has been installed. New tuning pins and strings give the piano a new lease of life and this particular model has plenty of depth, sustain and power. The action is fast and responsive, and the touch rich with plenty of warmth. The model A is the introductory model to Steinway's Concert Grand series, and it sits at 6 feet 2 inches in depth. This particular model is from the "Golden Era" of Steinway, largely regarded as the time period during which the company manufactured its finest-ever instruments. The action, strings, tuning pins and parts of the cabinet have been replaced to a high standard and the piano boasts tremendous power, sustain and richness with a touch to match. We can even take away your old piano for you free of charge if required. Warranty This instrument is sold with a 5 year warranty. The warranty covers all parts and labour. If the piano needs repairing, then we come to your home. Tuning and general maintenance/servicing is not covered by warranty. Complimentary First Piano Tuning Although the instrument is tuned before leaving our showroom, we want you to be completely happy with your new piano, so we arrange an initial first tuning completely free of charge. After your new piano has been delivered, we will arrange for a tuner to visit you and tune the instrument in your home.
