He bred a pigeon collection that excelled in every distance, from sprint to extreme long distance. His pigeons were outstanding prize winners that combined speed and strength, making them very versatile. Almost every fancier is familiar with his world famous pigeons Limoges, Super As, Millennium Perpignan, and Bonten Barcelona. Georges gained an international reputation winning national first prizes from Limoges and Perpignan. He was particularly successful in the races from Perpignan, which was his most favourite classic of all – hence his nickname ‘Mister Perpignan’.
