Dark Cloud's entire soundtrack remixed in a 8-bit/chiptune style reminiscent of old games on NES, SNES, Gameboy, etc. Dark Cloud is a very special game from my childhood that contributed to shaping my creativity and imagination. This project took several months to complete with some moments where I wanted to abandon because I wasn't satisfied enough with the quality. But I pushed through! It's not as perfect as I'd like but I am proud of the final result, please enjoy and thanks for listening! 😄 Note that this remix is made in a 8-bit/chiptune style but it is not necessarily an accurate representation of how it would sound on retro consoles. Following hardware restrictions would have made this project too complicated to do and it would sound less faithful to the PS2 soundtrack. Also, there are some moments where notes in certain tracks overlap in a way that can sound unpleasing.
