Romanian beauty Anna Ursu, 18, was with her pal when she decided to take a selfie, from on top of a train. The was not moving at the time, it was stopped at a station during that time, so she and her pal decided to attempt to take a ‘special selfie’ on top of the train. Anna was lying on top of the carriage, when she put her leg in the air for the selfie; but came into contact with an overhead cable, transmitting 27,000 volts through her body, leading to a huge fireball. Her friend did not touch the electrical field but was still thrown into the air. A witness was out for a stroll when he spotted the girls playing about, and unluckily saw the incident. He risked his own life by scaling up to help Anna, covering her burning clothes and calling the emergency services. Both girls were rushed to the hospital in a helicopter, but unluckily Anna later passed away. A spokesperson of the hospital said Anna hadn’t directly touched the wire; however, had touched the electrical field that is just as hazardous. The surviving pal said that they wanted to get the ultimate selfie, and had not thought about the hazard that they were putting themselves in.
