It made me cringe haha. Back in the Galloway Forest this time hiking out to Loch Grannoch for a night. The most amazing scenery was around every corner, the bird songs around me was such a delight. The weather was perfect and woke to the most peaceful of mornings with a perfect sunrise finished off with two freshly cooked Black pudding and Tattie Scone Rolls. Getting outdoors is the best thing to de stress, unwind, let off steam and will absolutely help your mental health. Breathing in fresh air will do wonders. My videos show you that the areas can be close by and items don't need to be expensive to do wild camping. I hope you took something away from this adventure, the walk itself was pretty good. I never me a sole out there and i am sure at weekends it may be a little busier. The walk is about 5 miles if you are looking to do it, there is a small beach there and on a good day worth bring a picnic and soak up the views. If you are new to wild camping or thinking about it thats great glad you have taken a step. Remember it doesn't have to be expensive start of with some basic kit, key items apart from good footwear and clothing, the Tent, Sleeping Bag and Roll matt and items that will make you warm comfy and dry so think carefully for what you want and can afford.
