Paramotor and powered paragliding WPPGA certified equipment currently boasts zero fatalities. This video is a great example of the incredible stability of the K2 paraglider. Obviously it is not recommended that you fly a severely damaged wing but often people have a very unrealistic fear that any damage is going to cause their glider to fail. Not true with the Cima K2. As you can see about 1/3rd of the glider is completely destroyed but the K2 flies just fine. The K2 will in fact fly on less than 1/3rd of the wing. It's not that you would want to go fly a damaged wing but this should help give people a good healthy confidence that if their glider takes damage in flight or if you miss something on the ground and fly it with a big rip or something it isn't going to just stop flying. The Cima K2 is the safest and most stable glider we've ever tested. We had no concern what-so-ever at flying the damaged K2 because if you understand how they are constructed and how they are designed to fly you really gain a very high respect for the incredibly safe and stable technology that went into this paraglider and paramotoring wing.
