João is very passionate about barbering and absolutely loves his work. He grew up on the island of Terceira which is where he opened his first barbershop. Approximately a year ago, he opened his second shop in Ponta Delgada on the island of Sao Miguel. On most days while we were there, you would find us stopping by the shop visiting João, Silvia, Marco & JC! The beautiful Azores was the final destination of our travels for 2018! We stayed on the island of Sao Miguel for a bit of time exploring the natural wonders and experiencing all the incredible hospitality from the people we met.
