I think we started it out with a bang, and my longest video yet. I beat this all the way back in May, and this finally concludes my SUPER outdated video uploads. Calculator Core is a level I really looked forward to playing, and it didn’t really disappoint. My experience was a bit wacky because of my mind block after getting 79%; not sure why that even happened but it was very demotivating. The level never felt the same after that and I feel like i missed out on some of the experience because of it unfortunately. This doesn’t take away from how good the level is, of course. The gameplay is super fun and works pretty well, though i’m not a fan of how nuanced it is. You need an actual PHD for it to work, but it does works. The ship at 30% is the only part i disliked because of how awkward it was, and the dual after, even though it’s awesome, was really hard and annoying to get consistent at, mostly because of the wave releases. It’s an incredibly satisfying level to play, and I loved the pacing, right up to the last dual. It felt really good to play. The deco is nothing special because it’s fairly old and grayscale, and I feel like it would have benefited from having more vibrant deco.
