The result was the toilet tank would slowly lose water. Calling American Standard was a pleasant surprise when they said that their American Standard toilet came with a lifetime warranty. That means all the toilet internals were covered. Once we gave them the serial number found on the inside of the toilet tank, American Standard had everything they needed to send us out all the replacement parts - a new flush valve, new fill valve, gaskets, and even new toilet nuts and bolts for the toilet.
