Today we are exploring a now shuttered hotel was the scene of a deadly shooting in 2015. not too long after, the hotel got the attention of the city and failed health inspections causing the complex to close. The hotel was once somewhat bouji and was popular for their massive conference centers where a lot of businesses would come in for meetings and party. before shut down, the hotel consisted of 2 buildings that connected through a sky bridge. but 2 years after closing, a company bought the complex and decided to gut and overhaul the building and turn it into 2 different hotels. after demolishing the sky bridge and gutting the buildings, they only converted one of the buildings into a new hotel and left the other one to rot. despite the unfortunate conditions the hotel is in now, we are going inside to see what is left #abandoned #abandonedbuilding #abandonedplaces #urbexing #hotel #kentucky #urbex
