Hill Country Dew By Central Texas Soaps | The Daily Shave

Hi everyone! Ray here for another West Coast Shaving’s daily shave video. Today I will be using Central Texas Soaps. Greg Smith is the Artisan behind this brand producing a variety of soap scents and matching after shaves. Today I will be using the Hill Country Dew scent. This was created after the success of his Mr. Pepper soap which is exclusive to west coast shaving and the desire for another soda inspired scent. When you open up the tub you smell the scents of lemon and lime effervescence. Reminding me of a sprite or Mountain Dew. As you lather it the scent strength increases. It is a very clean refreshing citrus scent. I would rate the scent a 9 out of 10. A creamy thick lather builds easily providing great slickness and protection allowing the razor to glide smoothly. So I would rate that aspect a 9 out of 10. Post shave my face feels very moisturized and refreshed. Finishing it off Maol Grooming’s aftershave splash scent of Frankinlime. Based out of Ontario, Canada and created by Sean Mullen. This is a combination of various citrus aromas and frankincense that provides additional nourishment and a re-invigorating sensation to my face. I would rate it a 9 out of 10. For he brush I used is the WCS infinity brush. This is their 26 mm black synthetic hair which provides great backbone and soft tips which develops a great lather. The handle is hand turned and provides an excellent easy grip for control. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
