If you like it please click it & share it! :) In this film I sought out the Yoda of Sim Racing - Jimmy Broadbent - to see if he could cure my lack of virtual skills. The gulf in realism between real life racing and Sim is closing all the time but I still find myself accident prone and struggling to replace that 'seat of the pants' instinct that I rely on behind the wheel. Jimmy was kind enough to accept the challenge of training the untrainable and he really broke it down for me. It was great learning more about the equipment he uses and his mental approach, as well as adapting to the Sim in order to get the most out of it. By the end of my training I felt a bit more useful and decided to challenge him to a drifting contest - it was only when I got home and saw the video footage that I realised he had completely ROASTED me... Jimmy and I are team-mates with Praga this year so you'll be seeing more action as the year goes on. Hope you enjoy the film !!
