[PS4/5/PC] PDP Victrix BFG Pro - Get REAL 0% DeadZone // Driver Conflict Workaround

Please read me! Timestamps // Written tutorial: 0:00 Intro 0:26 Section 1, Steam Input 2:10 Section 2, GlosSI - Steam Input on ALL games 6:05 Section 3, Driver Conflict Workaround, using VirtualBox ----------------------------- Zero deadzone in Steam games: Visit Steam settings or Steam overlay and go into Controller Settings. Make sure Steam Input is enabled and your controller is set to PS4 or PS5 mode. Make sure for "Using Recommended Template", it is just set to "Gamepad", to clear any extra button binds set by Steam. Click Edit Layout in Controller settings, then Joystick, then click the settings cog wheel to the right of the joystick settings. Click Deadzone on the left and scroll down to ensure the deadzone is set to No Deadzone. You should now have zero deadzone in games on Steam. --------------------------------- Zero deadzone in ALL games: Find a download link for GlosSI 0.1.2.0 (Many can be found in the GlosSI official Discord server, YT isn't allowing me to post links sadly.) Install it. Once it is installed, open GloSI, go to Settings, and ensure to run it in windowed and also add a FPS cap of 5 to the window. For Steam, add a Non-Steam Game to your Steam library and browse to Program Files → GlosSI and add GlosSI-Target to Steam. Go into Steam settings, click Controller, and ensure that Playstation Controller support is set to Enabled (not just Enabled w/o support) and Enable Steam Input for Xbox Controllers is enabled as well. Then, run GloSi-Target from Steam and you should hear the sound of a controller connecting to your computer. You can edit GlosSI's settings if you like. --------------------------------- Workaround for driver conflict: Use another computer. Or, create a virtual machine by installing VirtualBox (or VMware, or any other virtual machine software that you can get your hands on. Could install a Windows VM on Mac or Linux as well.) Grab a Windows iso directly from Microsoft website, and create a Windows VM using the iso. Grab a generic Windows key online to get through the unattended installer settings. Save the settings and run the VM. Make sure in your VM's settings that the Network Adapter is set to Bridged so that the VM has internet. Open the MS Store and download the Victrix software as normal, then, to connect your controller to the VM, for VirtualBox, you can click Devices → USB → name of your controller and you can change your settings from here.
