When it gets cold in Yellowstone, snow starts accumulating, and all the grizzly bears are off sleeping in their dens, which makes it is hard to get motivated to start snowshoeing. So I thought I would go down and do a little hiking in the Mesquite Nevada area where the weather is still warm. It was warm, the air was fresh, and I only saw 2 hikers in the Valley of Fire. All of you people in this part of the country are so lucky to have such a huge area to hike and to be out in Gods beautiful creation with no other people around.
