THE STORY: I have been working closely with Rigged and Ready for my entire YouTube journey, and it’s given me a love for these unique fishing rods; an itch that simply can’t be scratched by traditional fishing gear. Being able to fit multiple entire fishing set-ups into a backpack alongside all my filming equipment, water, food and clothing is such a huge asset. The explorative aspect of fishing is what excites me the most, and when it comes to Adventure gear, no one does it quite like Rigged and Ready. Compact, multi-function rods have been accompanying me on my fishing adventures for years now. Up into the mountains, abandoned quarries and even the streets of Amsterdam, my trusty travel rods always get the job done. The brand has been there for me since almost day one, and our growth together has been an absolute rollercoaster. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Andy and Jo since the early days, and have watched Rigged and Ready go from a passionate side project to the world’s leading travel rod company with thousands of five-star reviews, amazon best sellers and a growing global community of like-minded anglers.  Being part of a very small team making big changes in the tackle industry has been an absolute privilege, so you can imagine my delight when we started discussing an ‘Adventure Fishing UK’ collaboration rod. Fast-forward a year or so, and it’s finally here. Inspired by my personal experiences, trips and travels, alongside Andy’s knowledge and insight, the X5 Explorer was born. We are pushing the limits of my all-time favourite model, the X5 Adventure, further than ever before. The new collaboration rod has the Adventure Fishing logo printed on it and comes with six different tips, as well as an optional handle extension.
