During the New Year eve, we decided to travel to Bursa, Turkey. One of the most famous part of Bursa is Uludag mountain which means "great mountain" and its peak is 2543m. Overall, I would say that location is great, you feel like in winter fairytale. The weather is very cold, around -17, but there is no wind. Do not forget to bring thermal clothes before coming. Thick clothes are not enough to feel warm. There is a lot of cafes, restaurants. There is small shopping points in which selling the thermal clothes, skiing stuff, but I would recommend to buy them before coming to Teleferik, as there is a huge price differences. Overall, Prices are not cheap. Bus is as an alternative cheaper way of Teleferik. Teleferik costs 250 YTL per person for round trip and you have to pay around 30 YTL for the bus to reach to the skiing center. Lastly, I would count Uludag as a good winter travel destination.
