St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church Sunday July 16 - 2023 This morning, the RockSteady Praise Chorale – sang: ‘THIS IS JUST WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME’ This song was written by Bill and Gloria Gaither. We based our version on an interpretation sung by Walt Mills. There are several descriptions of heaven in the Bible – here is one: “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10) Accompaniment by the choir director Brian James Wallace - playing a Yamaha PSR-S770.
