Today, in lecture 299, we will discuss ‘Hydrological Cycle and the Qur’an’’ as 38th issue under ‘The Qur’an and Modern Sciences’. There are several verses of the Qur’an shedding light on various aspects of Hydrology which we will discuss in the upcoming lectures. In our discussion today we will focuss on the verses describing existence of this great wonder revealed about 1500 years ago which has been witnessed by the scientific discoveries in the recent times after having developed satellite-computer based modern technologies. Amazingly, the Qur’anic information regarding hydrological cycle happened to be the precursor of the information that could be attained by the scientific discoveries centuries later. The nature of such advance information speaks of the divinity of Qur’an. Now, let us look at the Qur’anic revelations which unfolds the mystery of hydrological cycling and how it has been witnessed by the scientific discoveries.
