“Baji- The immortal Boat Boy” is based on the the story of the youngest martyr of the freedom struggle from Odisha, Baji Rout. This short film has own awards like "Best Editing" at "6th Noida International Film Festival- 19" and "Honourable Jury Mention" at "9th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival- 19". It has been also officially selected for "8th Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival- 19". Born on October 5, 1926, at Nilakanthapur in Dhenkanal district Baji was courageous enough to face the rifles of the British force, furious at the audacity to disobey the order of the powerful police force. At a very young age where he was supposed to play and enjoy his life, he protested against injustice and fought for the freedom of his land. He became a part of the elite group of freedom fighters whose name we should always remember.
