FTX Outrage / BSD832 Nitro 1/8 buggy DESTROYED scrap yard heap - Full ground up rebuild!

Initially I thought I could use this for parts for something else if it arrived and it was as bad as it looked in the auction photos..... I wasn't wrong, it had been left somewhere damp or maybe even submerged in water for a period. Screws were rotten, many of them sheared or the heads disintegrated when shown a screwdriver. This really was a mess but it made it that much more of a challenge. Parts have been hard to find although the only part I gave up on was the body. I ended up using a different BSD Racing body but it was one of the few that fitted the measurements. Please excuse my dull voice, I have had a few long weeks with work and home life, this has definitely given me something to do whilst I have been off work but I am still worn out from driving up and down the country with my job. I hope you enjoy watching it come together! I don't drive the nitro cars such as this because as I am now in my 40's and don't have the time I used to. If you leave these for long periods after they've been run without cleaning the old fuel out it gums up quite bad and ruins the engine. Old fuel also seems to draw in a fair bit of moisture and you find all the bearings go rusty. I retire them gracefully in my hobby room in my house for my enjoyment.
