Here's my new snare mic shootout. There might be a few surprises between bargain/expensive mics. All the mics are soloed, so you can hear their bleed and character better. I recorded all the mics with 3 different snare tunings, high - medium and low. I used a few of my favourite snares for this shootout: Brady 14x5,5 Jarrah Block (high tuning), Keplinger 14x7 Black Iron (medium tuning) and a Craviotto 14x6,5 solid walnut (low tuning).
