Uppsala Castle (slott) was built in the 16th century and played a vital role in the history of Sweden. It was severely damaged by fire in 1702 and its restoration took some time, as the stone to rebuild it was instead used to build Stockholm Palace. Today it is the site of the Uppsala Art Museum and can easily be found in any part of Uppsala as it sits on the highest point. As always, drone rules such as maintaining visual line of sight, flying no more than 120 meters in altitude, and never flying over crowds must always be adhered to. This particular area in Uppsala is near Uppsala hospital, therefore one must call the helipad beforehand to ensure that the airspace is clear before your drone flight.
