FSC 2024 Tom Brown Park | New Class equals I got dropped | Tallahassee

Time for work on a new class (XC2 - Sport) at the Florida State Championship in Tallahassee, Tom Brown Park. The start was relatively OK given the size of the group, but then I got dropped badly on the long climb that characterizes this course. I recovered quite a few positions throughout the race but not as well as I expected. We had the Time Trial the day before where it poured right when we were about to begin. Trails became a river to ride through. It subsided overnight and got better, except it rained so bad in our 3rd lap that the next class (XC3 - Base) had to only do one lap.
