Original Snow White, NOT Made for Kids!

Did you know that Disney’s Snow White differs in several respects to the original Grimm Brothers’ story which is darker and yes, more brutal? For example, in the Disney Version, there are seven dwarfs and each one is named. In the original Grimm’s version, the dwarfs are not individually named, and there are twelve of them. In the Disney version, the queen uses the famous poisoned apple which causes Snow White to fall into a death-like sleep. In the original version, the queen uses a poisoned comb and later a poisoned lace. Lastly, in the Disney version, the evil queen meets her end by falling off a cliff. In the original version, the queen is punished by being forced to dance in red-hot iron shoes until she dies at Snow White's wedding.
