Or how about "the Bulls are down 7 points half way through the 4th quarter." Familiar phrases during Jordan's career, where he was asked to carry his team in crunch time. This was one of those types of games for Michael. Tie the shoelaces up just a little tighter, because the team needs you to pull off another miracle Mr. Air Jordan. Bulls vs Bucks games, in the 1980's, provided great entertainment via the intense competitive spirit that each team displayed. At this point in time, however, the Chicago Bulls had begun to establish superiority over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks however did hold some injury excuses in their back pocket. They would be devoid of those excuses in this basketball game. So, the Bucks had convinced themselves, that as they were getting healthy, that they were in fact the better team. One thing is for certain, the Bucks had the Bulls on the ropes multiple times in this competitive 80's NBA Eastern Conference Central Division contest. Also, at this point in time, Michael Jordan was actively attempting to improve the team by sharing the ball, repeatedly and routinely throughout every game. When the Bulls NEEDED a bucket though, that's when the ball found Air Jordan. The Bucks were 16-7 at home. Michael Jordan & the Bulls had a tough task at hand to get a win in Milwaukee against a fired up basketball team. Time stopped though, when, in crunch time, Terry Cummings fouled Michael Jordan, MJ landed on his arm, and team trainers ran on the court to check on Michael Jordan because he was hurt and it didn't look good. The future of the Chicago Bulls franchise hung in the balance as Michael Jordan laid on the court, rolling back and forth in pain, with 2 seconds left, and the game tied.....
